Relentless — The Book Behind The Clinic

Long Life Hyperbarics exists because Lisa Tamati refused to give up on her mother. In 2016, Isobel suffered a massive brain aneurysm that left her with catastrophic brain damage. Doctors said she'd never recover. Lisa proved them wrong.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy became the cornerstone of Isobel's rehabilitation — flooding damaged brain tissue with oxygen that conventional medicine couldn't deliver. Against all expectations, Isobel made a full recovery and remains healthy in her 80s today.

Lisa documented the entire journey in her bestselling memoir Relentless, praised by Born to Run author Chris McDougall as one of the most thrilling, heart-rending adventure stories he'd ever read.

That experience is why this clinic exists — so others in Taranaki can access the same therapy that changed everything.
